After spring’s playful romp in bright, poppy colors, Nanette Lepore got serious for pre-fall, darkening her palette and expanding her suiting options. Skirts came modest and tops were prim or slightly romantic with ruffled accents and embroidery. Skirt sets were composed of a T-shirt and skirt and done in a tattersall knit or a pretty floral printed on lightweight nylon.
