Frank Lloyd Wright designed the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum with light and nature in mind, and designer Misha Nonoo translated those tenants into a fun and thoughtful lineup. She cleverly mimicked the building’s famed rotunda, for example, via transparent stripes that circled the ankles of metallic tweed pants and the hem of a crisp blue shirtdress, while a photo of moss taken by the designer was reimagined as a colorful staticlike print on a circular paneled skirt.
