Peter Jensen channeled the wardrobe of late New York socialite Sunny von Bülow for pre-fall. The designer’s take was twofold, capturing von Bülow on New York’s social circuit as well as her outdoorsy lifestyle in Newport, R.I. The latter, for example, inspired snug puffer jackets in navy or green corduroy, crisp shirts embroidered with floral motifs and a crepe viscose bustier dress with a deer print. Jensen also collaborated with artist Will Broome for a new cartoonish version of his signature rabbit pattern that appeared, for example, as a crest on sweatshirts.
