For Sea’s designers Monica Paolini and Sean Monahan, pre-fall was a chance to embrace the buy-now, wear-now mentality. The collection had a real sense of ease and was full of thoughtful details in versatile fabrics. Lace, which is a huge seller for the label, was cut into a slouchy slip dress and added as trim on both a cotton sweatshirt and a boxy leather T-shirt, all pieces that could pair beautifully with the duo’s dainty silk shorts and track pants in fun prints. There were also some great topcoat options, most notably one done in a needlepoint houndstooth and another in leopard jacquard.
