The design team at Tse drew from Georgia O’Keeffe for its pre-fall lineup, but not in the obvious way. Zooming in at a macro level, the team abstracted the geometric shapes present in O’Keeffe’s modernist floral and desert paintings. The curved lines informed circular shoulder cutouts on the label’s signature cashmere sweaters. Elsewhere, beaded and needle-punched embroidery decorated knits in wavelike patterns, creating a cool sense of texture, while bright pops of blue and green kept the lineup fresh. One ribbed sweater with a generously draped cowl-neck could be worn off-the-shoulder for a more sensual take.
