For cruise, Gucci’s Frida Giannini focused on sleek basics intended to create a modern, no-fuss wardrobe. Body-conscious silhouettes, at times as tight as a second skin, were accented by sporty details. There were short, zippered dresses, scuba-inspired jackets and slim stretch pants, often complimented by mesh insets, zips and drawstrings, while lace-up details appeared on perforated leather anoraks or nylon parkas. It was all in a muted palette of black, teal blue, gray and black text.
