For Dior’s cruise collection, John Galliano drew inspiration from founder Christian Dior’s formidable, quirky muse Mitzah Bricard, who never arrived at Avenue Montaigne before noon — and never looked anything but great. Bricard’s favorite accessories — turbans, pearls and stilettos — were all present, worn with high-drama clothes including new versions of Dior’s Bar jacket, one in guipure lace, and frothy chiffon cocktail dresses in blurred lily-of-the-valley prints.
