The prints were inspired by scarf motifs from the swinging decade, while short dresses came in a variety of styles, from halter to tank versions and long-sleeve ones. Missoni also offered cardigans, either slouchy and zipped-up or beefy and body-skimming, tossed over slim tops and leggings. She proposed three color groups — earth tones jazzed up with corn yellow; black and red tempered by dusty rose and hazelnut brown, and a mélange of navy, aubergine and steel gray.
