Phillip Lim’s 3.1 resort collection is inspired by the glamorous young Bianca Jagger of the Seventies, heading to Studio 54 in her jumpsuits and sequins. But Lim’s interpretation isn’t literal. His trademark borrowed-from-the-boyfriend theme also morphs into a borrowed-from-a-teenage-boy motif this season.  “I wanted to reflect a discreet charm and have the masculine undertones be less about tailoring and construction and more about boyish ease,” he says. Both trains of thought are seen throughout, as in the white sequined pantsuit paired with a robelike jacket, or the burnout satin jumpsuit shown with a lightweight blazer with a detachable leather collar and cuffs.
