This season, the design team behind Escada looked to traditional Japanese fashions and reinterpreted them for the Escada woman. The outcome: a modern version of kimono sleeves on jackets, origami folds and drapes on dresses, obi belts on everything as well as a watercolor floral print skirt. The design team also played with brushstroke stripes in a graphic navy and white colorway on shrunken blazers and asymmetric dresses.
