Anchored in tribal prints inspired by the photographs of Malick Sidibé, Thakoon Panichgul captured the easy spirit of resort with one of his strongest Thakoon collections to date. Artisanal details — lacing details, braided rope, grommets, French-tablecloth embroidery and block printing — all had a delicate, pretty effect on voluminous tops and layered dresses, many of which flaunted his way with interesting construction — case in point, a curtain-pleated trench.
