Iconic Mexican painter Frida Kahlo — and her penchant for mixing men’s wear and women’s wear with folkloric touches — feeds Riccardo Tisci’s imagination for pre-spring at Givenchy. Tisci cuts tuxedo coats and tailcoats in a bold leopard print and incorporates pleating and ruching details into white shirts and harnesslike tops. Other intriguingly detailed looks include micro-pleated poplin skirts encrusted with lace bands and a sensual chiffon dress in cream with graphic inserts of red lace.
