Alice Temperley returned to her romantic roots for resort with a collection inspired by Botticelli’s paintings “The Birth of Venus” and “Allegory of Spring.” The clothes were filled with delicate details such as gently scalloped hems on skirts and dresses, which recalled seashells, and flowers appliquéd onto tulle, all in a palette of blush, powder blue and pale green. The lineup also spotlighted Temperley’s signature goddess gowns, which she said she draped on the stand to achieve their statuesque effect.
