Jean Paul Gaultier’s pre-collections often revolve around the reworking of a house classic. This time, that item was the trenchcoat, shown in many ways, from a short-sleeve version worn as a top with matching pants to an ultracropped style with a skirt; there were also trenches with cutouts or in peplums and tartans. As for prints, shirtdresses and evening pieces were in Hawaiian floral motifs and a Romanian pattern appeared on a blouse and dress.
