For her Moschino Cheap & Chic resort collection, creative director Rossella Jardini paid tribute to the eclectic culture of Great Britain, combining a traditional English countryside theme from the early Nineties with psychedelic elements. Crepe de chine pants in a romantic rose pattern were paired with a wool sweater embellished with a geometric sequined motif on the collar, while a knit cotton miniskirt was matched with a fluid silk chiffon tank in an oversaturated print of a country landscape. There was also a silk tunic, its front in a pottery-inspired pattern and stripes on the back, which was also worked on a T-shirt worn under a cropped cotton jersey jacket with iridescent mother-of-pearl buttons, paired with a skirt embroidered with macramé lace.
