School girls — their shrunken blazers, crisp white cotton shirts, pleated skirts or Bermuda shorts — were the main inspiration for Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren, who wanted a “fresh, young and clean” look for resort. The duo, no strangers to frills, worked a more graphic and minimal vibe with large sculptural flounce hems on short dresses, coats and miniskirts. Tailoring featured tie motifs like club stripes and polka dots, while embroidered Swiss florals on a silk organza dress had a girly sensibility. Zipper intarsia sweaters added a cartoonish note. The designers also introduced a bridal capsule of six looks, such as a sleeveless jumpsuit and frilly dresses in pure white.
