Inspired by ballerinas and sunflowers, Lutz Huelle worked around the idea of softness and graphism.

He played with pleats and draping on trenchcoats, dresses and long knit cardigans, and translated the sunflower idea mostly by the yellow and green color palette often shown in kaleidoscopic motifs. Arty touches came via hand-knitted sweaters made of silk chiffon yarn in chunky stripes.
