Anyone wondering where Jeremy Scott would take the parade of junk food jokes and fashion puns he established for fall, well, there’s more where that came from. Resort was an arsenal of kitsch, with fall’s ideas evolving into soda-pop “pop”: a T-shirt dress was done in sequins cut from aluminum cans and a strapless mini was designed to look like Coca-Cola bottles but bearing the Moschino label. There was a motorcycle jacket group reimagined as a strapless gold leather dress and tons of moto bags, while an embossed crocodile group was decorated with plaques from the house archive and some new ones Scott recently dreamed up. Every gimmicky goof had accessories to match — the handbags, shoes and small leather goods offering has indeed been supersized.
