“Resort is kind of my favorite season,” said Cynthia Rowley, who loves the real-life mix of adventure, travel and style. The designer set up shop at downtown Manhattan gym S10 Training to showcase her latest collection of whimsical frocks blended with rash guards, swimwear and pieces from her new activewear capsule. “The surf collection and the Neoprene have been doing really well at retail so it just made sense to take the next step,” she noted.
The result was a versatile lineup of fun yet thoughtful pieces. A bonded V-neck top and flared pants printed with constellations looked ready for a night out and, bonus, are machine washable. Elsewhere Rowley showed an embroidered silk wool coat-and-dress set and beaded and embellished T-shirts, artfully mixing the looks with rash guards, sporty bra tops and a bevy of Neoprene leggings and sneakers that begged the question: Wanna work out?
