There was a multilayered, floral-printed silk gauze gown with black lace around the waist and a slim silk crepe version with structural rosettes.

The designers also placed more emphasis on easy evening glamour via separates, such as a lace gypsy top with extra-wide silk wool trousers, “because sometimes people don’t want to put on a dress,” said Craig.
