“Feminine detail, but with bite,” Prabal Gurung said of his resort collection. He approached the idea in several ways, from lace details on a tweed and leather jacket to the graphic peplum on a sleek wool gabardine trouser suit. The designer’s bolder graphics were standouts, including patchworklike color blocks on a chic chunky wool sweater shown with a flirty silk skirt, and the brushstroke pattern — inspired by artist Matthew Stone’s work — used throughout, in everything from prints to jacquards on T-shirts and dresses.
