Suiting was at the heart of Yigal Azrouël’s resort collection, but not the stuffy banker sort. Here, the look was full of sophisticated ease: blazers came boxy, pants cropped and skirts cut midi length with a wrap front in tropical weight gabardine and crepe. To add visual interest, there were lots of new textures, most notably a rich bouclé fabric woven in a geometric jacquard that looked great as both a kimono jacket and a dress with an asymmetric hem. And note to dog lovers: Azrouël’s beloved French bulldog, Jagger, made a cameo on several printed scarves.
