“Separates, seaming, sporty,” were the guiding principles of Zac Zac Posen for resort. Loosely operating from a tennis point of view, Posen used navy, royal blue and white to give the collection an automatic sportiness underscored by the shapes: spongy, stretchy knits, such as a tight cropped jacket over a tank dress with a flared skirt. He reinterpreted the classic varsity jacket in a slim, tailored version over a floral-printed maxiskirt. The look was easy and active, even for the eveningwear, including an elegant gown with a white trapeze top and curvy black skirt.
