This season a sportif theme ran through Guillaume Henry’s resort collection for Carven, some of which he showed on his recent men’s runway for fall. Surf and ski accents punctuated the Sixties-inspired bourgeois looks. A-line dresses had zippered and ribbed knit collars, while stiff coats and jackets featured big horizontal bands running down their raglan sleeves.

Some pieces were punctuated with the Carven logo across fronts, while a girly wink came via tiny cherry blossom embroidery on an austere black-and-white dress and smocked silver lamé on a cropped top and skirt.Meta Tags
