Giambattista Valli filed his mix of floral prints under “Flower Power,” working them in a “happy” palette of brights on white, pink and blurry lavender and yellow. It was an upbeat, playful lineup — red lips trimmed the necks and waists of minidresses — that covered cocktail, Valli’s bread and butter, with an array of laces, fil coupes, structured satins and ethereal silks. There were also some nifty sporty separates, such as the killer pair of flared pants that are guaranteed to turn legs into long, lean stems.
