“How do I make each piece a special piece?” asked Naeem Khan backstage after his bridal show, discussing his focus for spring. “Each dress tells its own story, so how do I make each one amazing?” As it turns out, all 23 dresses in Khan’s collection were pretty amazing  — exquisite and fit for the most regal of brides.

Working in an ivory palette with accents of gold, blush and lavender, his princess, A-line and halter gowns came decadently embellished with hand-embroidered organza flowers, petal appliqués and floral-patterned beading. A pale blue strapless stunner covered in ostrich feathers and paillettes looked especially lavish, texture-wise.

Khan also expanded his bridal range, introducing some unexpected silhouettes, such as a hand-embroidered long-sleeve tunic over matching leggings, a metallic fringe cocktail dress and a silk organza caftan — the latter a signature of his ready-to-wear collections.
