Felipe Oliveira Baptista continued his foray into sharp, architectural tailoring, this time using the idea of speed and planes as a canvas for a more aerodynamic silhouette. This played out in graphic, long tailored jackets sporting angular pockets, and in a run of body-con frocks — some layered over swirling patterned bodysuits — with cutouts at the waist, feather details or cape sleeves. Fluid mesh drapes encircling other dresses gave a nod to Debbie Harry’s “Heart of Glass” era.
