The winner of this year’s Fashion Fringe new talent competition was Eun Jeong Hong, a Korean designer whose collection, Go By A Secret Path, was filled with cotton petal appliqués, draped tulle and white ruffles. Runners-up included LF Markey, who turned out peaches-and-cream-toned silk minidresses with tiered skirts; Sarah Easom, with vibrant prints that looked as if they’d been made with Magic Markers, and William Tempest, who did evening gowns and dresses, which ranged from fluid to stiff and highly constructed, like crepe-paper flowers.
