Creative director Shaun Kearney is only a year into his tenure at the 20-year-old label, but he knows just how to satisfy the Cynthia Steffe customer while nudging her into edgier territory. He balanced romantic, girly fare with great suede safari vests and jackets, slouchy blazers and a bit of coy transparency play. And while some ruffle overload gave pause, the final nighttime pieces, including miniskirts covered in silver chains and pearls, were definitely something to talk about.
