Designer Alfredo Argirò conjured up a modern-day Amelia Earhart in his collection for Ballantyne, which put an uptown twist on classic aviator staples. Argirò revamped the image of the brand, famed for its cashmere intarsia sweaters, with creations like a fine black leather flight jacket, an olive silk parachute jumpsuit and a day dress in a deconstructed camouflage print.
