Club Monaco considers spring a buy-now-wear-now season that runs from January to April, which made for a lightweight, layered look. There were fine-gauge cashmeres worn over printed chiffon blouses and dresses that offered a feminine counterpoint to the military-inspired jackets and slouchy pants. As usual, the palette was muted, this time in mineral grays and greens, and the news for women was in full skirts, available in just about every length. Meanwhile, men’s wear focused on casual shirting — plaid, chambray and corduroy button-downs and Henleys with shirt details — and relaxed tailoring, such as a deconstructed pin-striped blazer.
