Jean Charles de Castelbajac took an imaginary trip to Africa for spring, starting out with prim air hostess black-skirted suits with gold buttons, sojourning in safari gear, like long striped zebra dresses, linen tunics and camouflage tapestry jackets, and landing back in Paris in a patriotic frock, a hand-drawn Eiffel Tower print running down its front.
