White Mountaineering’s Yosuke Aizawa, who studied textile design at art school and worked under Junya Watanabe, drew press and fans to one of the city’s former Olympic stadiums for a line up of shorts, button-down shirts and some eye-catching knee-length underwear worn on its own or under short trousers. This season’s man seemed to veer between hippy explorer and downtown hipster clad in ethnic prints, army greens and high-tech fabrics.
