Austrian rockabilly dirndl queen Lena Hoschek cruised continental in her collection for spring. Red, white and blue stripes and dots went French one way, Americana the next, in ruffled bikinis, full-skirted frocks, and playsuits. Mambo Italiano on the soundtrack cued the shift to peasant blousing and embroidery on scoop-necked tops, flirty minis and 50’s party dresses. Hoschek also surprised by going off-schtick with a tailored patterned silk jumpsuit and a preppie polo dress.
