This darkly elegant collection was an arch, modern take on the femme fatales of film noir. Dresses came in hourglass shapes, yet had a sharp, angular quality. For example, a structured black sundress came in a geometric broderie anglaise fabric, with a deep sweetheart neckline and capped sleeves. The looks recalled Thierry Mugler’s designs in their hard-edged glamour, such as a cropped jacket in a graphic, lattice fabric piped at the seams with patent leather. Marios Schwab also skillfully played with revealing fabrics, layering structured black net over a series of simple cocktail dresses in red, mint and nude, while a floor-length gown in glossy black tulle, layered over a sequined bodice, looked fit for a Forties heroine.
