In one of her strongest collections to date, Andrea Lieberman’s A.L.C. spring line-up had plenty to offer starting with her new jewelry push. Although she had a soft launch for fall, the designer added plenty of brass jewelry to complement her lineup. Graphic bar bangles, humorous open-mouthed shark bracelets and edgy heart pendants spiked with nails were just a few key pieces. As far as the clothes were concerned, Lieberman focused heavily on prints for next season with bold African batik patterns, signature stripes, blurry florals and pale ikats — but made them all feel modern and fresh. For a sporty vibe, she showed surf shorts, easy dresses, chic jumpsuits, cool twisted-yarn knits, sexy leathers and must-have blazers. Classic shirtdresses with a short front panel gave the illusion of sheer layering in an effortless way and was also found on long sweeping skirts. “I try to make every piece special to give a reason to be and a reason to buy,” said Lieberman.
