Fiona Cibani has been going down the architectural road for a few seasons now and the results continue to be mixed. On one hand there were great linear suits and wrap vests tied with a neon cord, chic knit color-blocked dresses and sheaths featuring intricate draping and pattern plays. But on the other hand, there’s no getting past the designer’s sometimes odd fabric choices (puffy creamsicle orange plissé, thin as air crinkle viscose) or the knits that she fashioned into ruched leggings — a friend to no one over 105 pounds.
