Rebecca Taylor, who said her muse is contemporary, fresh and ethereal, put the emphasis on cut, color, texture and patterns for spring. The result was a mash-up of patchworked looks in everything from day and night dresses to trousers. While they were executed with Taylor’s sweet yet tomboyish hand, at times some of it riffed on her past seasons. The standouts, however, were her signature flirty bohemian frocks, some injected with silver pinstripes and others in playful eyelet, as well as slouchy embellished sweaters and a cool snake print leather bomber. The collection focused on soft neutrals with touches of bold citrus tones that added a cool edge to the girliness.
