If their debut collection, shown Saturday, was any indication of the house’s ideal direction, sweet and simple covers it. There was a vaguely Sixties tone to the shapes of jumpers, spliced with sheer panels, while squarish tops and A-line skirts done in chalky pastels recalled hospital scrubs with cutesy patch pockets. The designers also played with abstract floral prints and mix-and-match stripes that will be easy to wear and easy to blend with what a girl already owns.
