After the dismissal in March of designer Cédric Charlier, whose collections for the label appeared to be well-received everywhere but internally, it’s Ling Liu and Dawei Sun’s turn at the helm. If their debut collection, shown Saturday, was any indication of the house’s ideal direction, sweet and simple covers it. There was a vaguely Sixties tone to the shapes of jumpers, spliced with sheer panels, while squarish tops and A-line skirts done in chalky pastels recalled hospital scrubs with cutesy patch pockets. The designers also played with abstract floral prints and mix-and-match stripes that will be easy to wear and easy to blend with what a girl already owns.
