The crazy-hot weather during Paris Fashion Week had nothing on Moncler Gamme Rouge. Designer Giambattista Valli showered the runway with colored lights, smoke-filled bubbles and big white confetti, which rained upon a stage planted with four cherry trees in full bloom. Blossoms, in lieu of feathers, were trapped between organza layers for frothy dresses and parkas. Elsewhere, tiered fringe in rainbow shades mimicked the channels of this Italian brand’s famous down jackets. The most plausible summer apparel, however, were anoraks and hooded bombers printed with cloudy skies.
