Though Nineties grunge was the starting point, this collection saw Henry Holland take a softer and prettier approach to his perennially quirky designs. There were cute, drop-waisted tea dresses, one done in a dusty mauve floral print; a parka crafted in a rich purple metallic jacquard, and tie-dye print smock dresses inset with lace panels. Accessories, such as slouchy beanies embellished with gobstopper-sized crystals and flat metallic leather ankle boots, further enlivened Holland’s peppy slant on the decade’s aesthetic.
