Daniella Helayel’s runway sizzled with searing tropical colors, and Seventies silhouettes fit for breezy walks on the sand or post-swim cocktails. Models, their hair adorned with fresh orchids, donned caftans in tangerine and hot pink, jumpsuits with a parrot print, and long silk dresses — some with halter necklines — in rich colors such as purple, emerald, yellow and royal blue. For day trips into town there were swingy, knitted skater dresses with deep V-necks that came in hot pink or acid green, with and without sparkling embellishment on the shoulders or skirts.
