In this assured collection, Thomas Tait tapped into a Space Age aesthetic but gave the look a contemporary edge. The show was staged in a gritty, graffiti-emblazoned skate park and models walked out in precisely cut silk shorts or pleated skirts paired with tank tops or skinny striped polo necks. Coats were a standout, including cocoon shapes in shades of lime green and electric blue. There were also cool biker jackets in black or white leather, and sharp leather car coats. This outing cemented Tait’s status as a London designer who’s developing a singular vision.
