For spring, Nguyen was informed by a global folk aesthetic with an Eighties art-world touch. The mix resulted in ample surface interest, from skinny jeans with soft floral prints to intarsia sweaters that had a tribal, Inca feel. The car coat in a flower motif and the graphic-pattern kimono dresses with dolman sleeves added to the collection’s fast-fashion sensibility.
