After Georgia O’Keeffe’s orchids for fall, Gabriele Colangelo continued to play with artistic influence, turning to Sonia Delaunay’s colorful and geometric work to inform his Genny collection.

The result came in strong hues and graphic motifs, including one dress with soft fabric draped across a hard leather bodice, and several geometric jacquards used for form-fitting dresses. Colangelo’s designs looked best when he loosened the silhouette, as on slouchy pants and slinky evening dresses, the latter which had a touch of Seventies Halston without looking dated.
