Luisa Beccaria explored a beachy, Seventies bohemian look for her spring collection, saturating the lineup, which was more good-girl than free-spirit, with her signature romantic overtures. There were eyelet maxidresses and skirts, off-the-shoulder peasant tops and baby dolls done in white and hot pink, as well as a blue-and-white striped wallpaper floral that recurred a little too frequently on long dresses with big, ruffled necklines. While the sweet gypsy style was a nice departure from the classic lady Beccaria usually plies, it begged for a more modern eye.
