The San Francisco-based art and design university staged its biannual graduate fashion show featuring the collections of both singular and collaborative efforts of design and textile students.

The two standouts this season were Stephina Touch of Bakersfield, Calif., whose beautiful all-white collection included a coat-and-dress set and a sleeveless-top-and-pants look in double-faced silk and cotton that were not only well cut and ladylike but also offered a serious cool factor. Meanwhile, Iglika Vasileva Matthews from Bulgaria stuck to the sole medium of leather and suede, typically a difficult and somewhat limiting road, but she wisely kept silhouettes simple and allowed her talent for embossing and embellishment to shine on her minimalist separates.
