Lebanese designer Zuhair Murad is known for his red-carpet creations, dressing the likes of Jennifer Lopez and Beyoncé, so it was no surprise that he satisfied the glamour quotient by presenting his ready-to-wear collection in the salon of the Hôtel de Crillon. Part of the lineup was made in Italy, while the more embellished and elaborate pieces were done in his atelier in Beyrouth. Along with his evening and cocktail dresses, a few daywear pieces appeared, like wool pants with a satin waist worn with a printed top, and black tuxedos, but the red silk satin coat with lace appliqué, a rounded shoulder number and A-line bustier dresses were deeply rooted in Sixties couture.
