Designer Yu Amatsu presented an all-white collection of contrasting silhouettes and textures. There were body-conscious dresses, skin-tight pants with mesh inlays, flowing ponchos and open knit tops. The fabric variation, from the most delicate mesh and chiffon to chunky sweatshirt fleece, made up for the lack of color. After a series of maillots and mini dresses with skin-baring cutouts, Amatsu closed the show with some long gowns, a billowing cape and a jumpsuit with exaggerated wide legs. In possibly the most blatant corporate tie-in of the week, a series of bladeless fans from Dyson lined the runway.
