A newcomer to Japan fashion week, Yoko Sakai presented a collection of Sixties and Seventies-style resort fashion, calling to mind Jackie O in the Amalfi Coast or Grace Kelly in the French Riviera. Flowing white pants were topped with translucent printed blouses or embroidery-trimmed tunics, and tiny miniskirts were paired with tank tops covered in gold sequins or embroidered cutouts. The colors ranged from neutral tan, beige, black and white to bright blue, red, orange, coral and salmon pink. Big floppy hats and patent platform sandals completed the looks.
